We are excited to announce that we have partnered with Harrison Parks and Recreation along with other schools in our area to create a baseball/softball summer league. These leagues would give more kids the opportunity to play while learning fundamentals and teamwork that will help them grow personally and contribute to our school. Teams will be made up of Valley Springs students only and compete against other schools in our area. Teams will be divided as evenly as possible to allow more athletes to partic Highlights of the program include: Season will be from Mid May and run for 5-6 weeks. Games days of the week will be determined soon with each team playing 2 games per evening Baseball will be grades 3rd - 9th of the current school year Softball will be grades 3rd -9th of the current school year League managed by Harrison Parks & Rec Balls, umpires (2 per game), field prep, and secondary insurance will be provided Schools will bring their own players as a team (players can play up but not down) (Ex. Can have a 3-4 grade team but would play in 4th grade league) Athletes will be responsible for their own pants/shorts and we will provide the jersey Teams will be responsible for practicing on their own All games will be played in Harrison $400/team- Cost to parents is only $15.00 per athlete to help cover the cost of the jersey the athlete will get to keep. If this is not affordable the school will cover this cost.
