"This club will introduce students to the fundamentals of guitar. 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will be meeting once each week to learn to play this musical instrument. The goal of this club is to help students to express themselves creatively and to be able to walk away from these 9 weeks with the abilities to tune a guitar, learn strumming patterns, understand the parts of the guitar, play basic chord shapes, and to identify the major and minor scale patterns."
