This scholarship is given annually to a graduating senior at McDowell Early College, in memory of Nick Zemlis. The chosen recipient is who best exemplifies the characteristics of Nick. Nick was a "fireball". He was full of life and most often the center of attention in a group. He loved to make others laugh and wanted to make others feel better, regardless of how he felt. Nick's infectious smile and witty banter will forever be remembered by his family and friends.
