2018 Upgrades to Online Mobile Swipe - New App, New Requirements, and Free Training
For all schools using our app Online Mobile Swipe, please note that the old Heartland app is now discontinued. You will need to download the new Online Mobile Swipe app via the Google Play store or Apple iTunes app store. Any products sold through this new app must be set to to No Student ID Required and OMS Sales Allowed otherwise these products cannot be sold through OMS. These two features can be found on the Additional Options tab when setting up a Product. Please see the Online Mobile Swipe section to the right for OMS guides and training. We also offer free biweekly trainings on OMS. For schools that need help with the new app, or if they have any questions including on how to login, please email support@osmsinc.com so a Support Team member can assist.

OSC Report Update
Reports for OSC users have been updated/revamped and will be deployed to all sites by the end of the day on July 13th. Please click the link above for additional information on the reports. This information can also be found under the Online School Care (OSC) guide underneath the OSMS Documents, Guides, and Training section of the Home page.

System Changes to Expect By July 1,2018
As of July 1, 2018 you should expect to see a few changes in the Management Portal. Activity Setup is being retired permanently. Please ensure you are using the OSP Products page to set up your products. Student Obligation Setup will be turned off with the retirement of Summary Obligations, please either use Variable products or Detailed Obligations if your district has this option. Finally, for schools that have Online School Care, reports are being updated and you will see the new reports and a guide on them soon.

Online School Payments (OSP)
OSP allows parents, students, and guardians to pay using a credit card or e-check online using a web browser from any location, 24 hours a day.

Online Ticket Management (OTM)
With the Online Ticket Management (OTM) module, purchasing school items that require redemption is easier than ever before!

Online Teacher Receipting (OTR)
OTR allows teachers and other school staff to process cash, check, and credit card payments from parents and students using a web browser from any location. Please note that OTR is also referred to as Online School Receipting (OSR)

Online Student Invoicing (OSI)
With Online Student Invoicing (Detailed Obligations), you are able to assign product(s) to students for purchase. These products could be anything from specific class fees, graduation, or even testing fees.

Online School Care (OSC)
Allows school districts to manage extended day, summer, and student enrichment programs throughout the district at multiple sites with central program oversight.

Online Mobile Swipe (OMS)
Allows schools to accept credit and debit card payments in-person with a mobile device from students, parents, and community members anywhere and anytime.

OSMS Training Catalog
Online School Payments now offers training options for Bookkeepers and Care Coordinators. Refer to the OSMS Training Catalog for upcoming courses and registration (Click on the title above).
