From the NHS Bylaws: ARTICLE VIII: OBLIGATIONS OF MEMBERS Section 1. A membership fee of $20 will be collected from every new member after the selection process. For each subsequent year of membership, a $20 membership fee will be required for active members. Fees are used for national Chapter dues, subsidizing graduation stole costs and induction ceremony materials. i. Any member who withdraws, resigns, or is dismissed from the chapter shall surrender the privilege of wearing the Chapter’s emblem. ii. Chapter members who are seniors in good standing shall be granted the privilege of wearing the honor stole at graduation. No member will be excluded from the Society due to an inability to pay. If the need is demonstrated, their dues will be covered by the chapter’s treasury. A member should discuss this with the Adviser if applicable.
