Item Terms & Conditions
The HPE Department has scheduled a field trip to The Adventure Park at the Virginia Aquarium in Virginia Beach on June 1st. We will begin departing from Kilgore as soon as the buses start arriving at approx. 8:30 am. This would require students to arrive by 8:00am. We will return by approx. 1:30 pm. The cost of the trip is $30 per student. Checks should be made payable to Kilgore Gifted Center. Cash and Online payments are accepted (see link below, fee). Payments and permission slips can be turned in to Mrs D or Mrs Jenkins in the HPE Department. The deadline for permission forms and payments is May 30th. The adventure course has different levels of height and difficulty to fit all skill levels. Students must wear athletic shoes that are secured to the foot. No Crocs, sandals, or slides are allowed on the course. Students should also wear comfortable clothing (dress code appropriate) and tie back long hair. It is highly recommended that students bring a pair of work gloves to use on the ropes course along with a water bottle and sunscreen. You can purchase gloves from the adventure park to pick up on arrival as well. If you have any questions or would like to chaperone please contact Mrs. Demyanyuk, [email protected].
