Eighth-grade end of year trip to Washington D.C. - May 9-12, 2023. . The total cost for the trip will be $650. The first payment is due on or before September 21st of $150.00 non-refundable deposit, October 26th of $100, November 16th of $100, January 25th of $100, February 15th of $100, and March 8th of $100. Eighth-grade end of year trip to Washington D.C. - May 9-12, 2023. Students will travel by charter buses and depart from Greeneville Middle School early on the morning of Tuesday, May 9, 2023. We will return at approximately 8:30PM on the evening of Friday, May 12, 2023. The trip could include a tour of the Capitol Building, Visits to Steven Udvar Hazy Air and Space Museum, Antietam Battleground, National Zoo, the Smithsonian’s, Ford’s Theater, Arlington National Cemetery, and all the monuments and memorials. The cost of the trip includes the following: Charter bus fare ALL Meals – No extra money needs to be sent for food. 3 nights lodging Deluxe Continental Breakfast Admission to all museums and attractions Cancellation Policy: $150 of this payment is nonrefundable, there will be no refunds given for any reason after March 8th, 2023 Payment options: - Full payment of $650.00 - $325.00 payment now, and $325.00 during the January payment. - $150.00 deposit payment and will make the other payments as scheduled. Partial payment schedule: May The first payment of $150.00, this payment is nonrefundable, as it is required to guarantee the transportation costs. If your child does not participate, this $150.00 will not be refunded. This includes students who become ineligible because of behavioral, academic, or attendance requirements. The schedule of payments is as follows: The first payment is due on or before September 21st of $150.00 non-refundable deposit, October 26th of $100, November 16th of $100, January 25th of $100, February 15th of $100, and March 8th of $100. There is a minimum number of students needed to go on this trip. If this minimum number is not reached, the trip will be cancelled, and all deposits refunded. Only in the event of cancellation of the trip will the initial payment be refunded, NOT because the student loses the trip or decides not to go.
