The purpose of this trip is to reinforce the science standards: PS.2.2 Understand the relationship between sound and vibrating objects. PS.2.2.2 Use models to summarize the relationship between sound and how sounds are produced and detected by parts of the body that vibrate. The students will have a 1hour stem lesson entitled,” Super Sound: Acoustics at the skating rink” followed by skating. (physical fitness).
