If your 4th or 5th grader would like to sign up for our Jefferson Running Club, please fill out this online form prior to check out. We will only accept the first 25 students who complete this. Students will be training for the Kings Mountain Jingle Bell 5k in December. More information on this race will come home soon. In the meantime, please be looking for a running buddy for your runner. We will practice on Wednesdays, starting on October 22nd. This is a running club, so your child will need to be prepared to run each practice. Make sure they wear tennis shoes and clothes they can run in, plus send a refillable water bottle. It is helpful to send them in their running clothes and shoes so they don’t have to change. If your runner does not wear appropriate clothing/shoes, they will not be allowed to stay. Practice ends at 4:00. Pick-up will be in the morning car rider line (around the backside of the school near the playground). If students are consistently late being picked up, they will be asked not to come anymore. Students will go to the gym at the end of the day, and a coach will pick them up and take them to the track. **Please note: If it is raining or rain is in the forecast, we will have an optional indoor cardio workout. Students will have the option to stay. We will communicate with you on DOJO.

Program Policies: By checking this box, I understand the policies of the program. These policies are in place to help respect the time & talents of our VOLUNTEER coaches, and the integrity of the program. Pick-Up Participants are expected to be picked up within 10 minutes of the close of the session. If a child is picked up late, the parent/guardian/person picking up will receive a verbal reminder. If a third instance occurs the child will, unfortunately, be dismissed from the program. Behavior Expectations I understand that my child will be expected to behave in an appropriate manner throughout the program. This includes, but is not limited to, any time the child is under the care of a coach or school authority, during program time. If my child’s behavior is deemed unacceptable by a coach or any other authority of the school, an incident report will be completed documenting the behavior. I understand that my child may face termination from the program if their behaviors continue.
