5th-grade field trip to Starbase in Charlotte from 10/27 to 10/31 (4930 Minuteman Way, Charlotte, NC 28208). Permission form must be signed and returned to attend. During the week of October 27th - 31st, students will participate in challenging“hands-on, minds-on" activities in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). They interact with military personnel to explore careers and observe STEM applications in the real world. Families will need to arrange for afternoon transportation Monday-Friday. Students will leave for STARBASE after the morning bell each day, but will return after school has already been dismissed. Therefore, students will not be able to ride the bus home.
