April 23rd, 2026 students will visit the NASCAR Hall of Fame to learn about how objects cannot move without force. Students will build a race car and conduct multiple experiments in which they explore how various forces (push, pull, gravity, friction, air) impact and affect the distance their car will travel. The experiment will have several variables that the students will change: type of tire, track surface, and car mass from which they will collect data on which combination gives them the best results.
