Dear Parents/Guardians and Students: To clarify and keep an open line of communication with students and parents regarding behavioral and academic expectations, we have created criteria to be followed from January 6th to June 3rd of the 20252026 school year. For your child to participate in the end-of-the-year activities, it is expected that your child is familiar with the Broward County Public Schools Code of Conduct book, follows all rules, and remains in good academic standing. The end-of-the-year activities, such as the Grade Level Field Trip, are considered rewards students earn to be eligible to attend. The grade level administrator will make the determination of a student’s eligibility up to the day of the activity based on specific criteria. Eligibility will be decided based on following criteria from the date of this letter until the event: ? No External Suspensions / AES / Promise Program ? No more than two (2) Internal Suspensions (including Dress Code / ID Violations) ? No Bus Suspensions ? No failing classes, defined as having a minimum of three points going into the fourth quarter ? No more than two (2) Administrative School Detentions ?
