These funds will be used to benefit the AVID students in helping with offsetting the cost of field trips to visit different colleges, businesses, or to pursue service and leadership opportunities to prepare them for the future. The funds will also be used to help defray the cost of various events the AVID committee hosts, such as a March Madness incentive for students and to continue to make improvements to the AVID lounge so students have a safe space to work during shark time.
